Last year was exhausting, and everyone at Brandermill Woods is excited to have finally turned the page on 2020. Although the coronavirus is still with us, we are optimistic about what 2021 will bring. Vaccines are being distributed, the days are already getting a little longer, and we are making plans for our spring and summer activities calendars.

Sadly, two of our residents from the Assisted Living tested positive for COVID-19 on 1/26/2021. The safety of our staff and residents would always be a priority

Health Care Community – The Haven, Assisted Living and Memory Care. This week’s weekly COVID testing conducted on January 20, 2021, found that one indirect care staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID-19 testing conducted on January 18, 2021 found that one employee in Assisted Living and one contracted vendor in the Beauty Salon tested positive. They are now quarantined at home. The Salon will be closed for 14 days beginning January 19, 2021.

Due to the increase in cases and hospitalizations in Chesterfield County, we have decided to continue a modified Step 1 through January 31, 2021. Chesterfield County’s positivity rate has increased to 22.3%, up from 19.4%. The protocol below is effective immediately. Please see the changes in BOLD from the 1/4/21 protocol.
