The Haven - This week’s weekly COVID testing conducted on September 28, 2020 found that one employee who works in The Haven tested positive for COVID-19. That employee is now quarantined at home.

I am very pleased to report the results from our routine testing performed over the last two weeks for all employees and residents in our Health Care Community, (The Haven, Assisted Living and Memory Care). All test results were negative for COVID-19. As previously stated, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) testing mandate is based on County positivity rates.

The Residents Employee Appreciation Fund (REAF ) has been for more than a quarter century the primary vehicle for recognizing and rewarding employees for their concerned care for and service to Residents of Brandermill Woods.

As stated in my last update, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued a testing mandate for all Health Care Communities. Chesterfield County has reported a rise to 11.3% positivity rate, which means we have to test all employees in our Health Care Community, which includes The Haven, Assisted Living and Memory Care, two times a week until the positivity rate drops below 10%.
