On January 11, 2021, we conducted our COVID-19 testing for all Health Care Community employees. We were informed that there was one (1) Assisted Living/Memory Care employee who tested positive and is isolating at home. All other employees test results were negative. After contact tracing was completed, it was determined that we will not have to test AssistedLiving/Memory Care residents. However, we will continue to monitor temperatures and signs of any symptoms for all residents.

Independent Living Community (ILU). Resilience continues to be the quality that is carrying us forward as we begin this new year. COVID-19 positivity rates continue to increase in Chesterfield County, and hospitalizations are at record highs. At our ILU Community, our list of residents on quarantine has increased to 56.

Due to the increase in cases and hospitalizations in Chesterfield County, we have decided to take our ILU Community back to a modified Step 1 until January 15, 2021. The protocol below is effective immediately.

Independent Living Community (ILU) This morning, we were informed that another ILU resident tested positive for COVID-19 after being hospitalized due to illness. Kristen, ILU Administrator, together with our Infection Control Preventionist, are in the process of completing our contact tracing.

Health Care Community – The Haven, Assisted Living and Memory Care On the eve of a new year, I wish for all, hope that 2021 will be so much better, safer and kinder to all. On December 28, 2020 we conducted our COVID-19 testing and were informed that there was one (1) Assisted Living/Memory Care employee who tested positive and all other employees tested negative. The employee is isolating at home.

We are still requesting that residents continue to self-monitor their symptoms and temperature. Due to the current Governor mandates along with Chesterfield County’s positivity rate exceeding 15%, various policies will be put into place related to going off-campus. Please read the protocol below carefully for our policies starting on 12/23 in bold.
