It is with great pleasure to report that we have exceeded our goal of 28 days with no new COVID-19 cases, today is our 30th day. We are so proud of our committed employees who have gone over and above to keep our residents as safe as possible. This week we had eight (8) more of our quarantined residents test negative and are on the mend from COVID-19.

I’m happy to report that we are now on day 22 without any new cases of COVID-19 among our residents or staff. That’s encouraging news when you consider eight of our residents who once tested positive have recovered from the illness and now test negative. That leaves us with only 14 residents remaining positive.

Visitation UpdateWe have reached the point when we can start to re-open Brandermill Woods to outside guests for residents in our independent living neighborhood. Starting Wednesday, June 10th, we will offer residents the chance to get together with family and friends on-site based on the following guidelines. Residents who want to schedule a one-hour visit should call Dee Dolan at 744-1173 ext. 302 or email her at ddolan@brandermillwoods.com.

I’m feeling a sense of encouragement today with the latest developments related to our pandemic response. I’m happy to report that we have experienced a total of 16 days without a new COVID-19 case on our property. While we hope we are approaching the end of this coronavirus outbreak, we know there may be setbacks, but our hopes are high.
