Is the staffing different in The Holly Inn?

Yes, not only is the staff to resident ratio higher than in a traditional assisted living setting, but all staff members are specifically trained to work with the memory impaired.

How are meals served?

All meals, snacks, and beverages are served family style. While breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at general times, we try to respect and support the lifestyles our residents have practiced all their lives. Late risers and early risers may not necessarily eat breakfast together. Lunch and dinner are usually served during a general time frame.

With features like The Snoezelen Multi-Sensory Experience, we give these residents a safe space to live, explore treatment options, and maintain an engaging and stimulating lifestyle. At Brandermill Woods, that place is called The Holly Inn, which is named after one of our staff members who has personally set our very high bar for dedication and compassion.

Our specially trained Memory Care staff members lovingly get to know each resident, learning about their likes, their dislikes, and their personal stories. The resulting atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with hope and compassion shining everywhere you look.
