Important Status Update on Health Care Community PPS

We have known from day one that there would be days where we would have to take steps backwards which sums up the past few days. Today we received the results of our point of prevalence survey in our Health Care Community and discovered that four of our employees have tested positive. On the bright side, all 77 residents and the 158 staff members tested negative. We are still waiting on the results from 10 tests. As of now, all four employees are isolating at home and at the moment are not showing any symptoms of the virus.

Late yesterday afternoon we discovered that the coronavirus raised its ugly hand again at Brandermill Woods when we learned that one of our independent living residents has a confirmed case that was contracted offsite. The resident has since chosen to quarantine with family members and is no longer on site. We have still taken extra precautions by implementing a 14-day observation lockdown for our independent living residents. Our status in our Assisted living and Memory Care facilities remain the same.

COVID-19 UPDATE 07/16/20

Currently we are on a 14-day observation lockdown until July 30th or until further notice depending on COVID-19 Status. Late Wednesday afternoon we were informed of a new COVID-19 case in our Independent Living Community. Our highest priority at the moment is to do all we can to ensure the safety of all of our residents. We will be providing further updates as our plans moving forward are approved by the Health Department.

Late Wednesday afternoon we were informed of a new COVID-19 case in our independent living community. As a result, all of our amenities and classes will be closed today until we have had a chance to consult with the Health Department.
