On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its mask recommendations; however, this guidance does not apply to Health Care settings. We did receive an update from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that new/readmit residents that are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to quarantine for the 14 day observation period.
