Update on Testing Caregivers

Monday, December 7, 2020

Due to the current COVID situation, we will not be able to test caregivers/medical personnel WHO WORK FOR AN AGENCY in-house after this week’s Wednesday testing. Our focus is testing our own residents and staff. As a courtesy, beginning Wednesday, December 16, 2020, we will continue to offer weekly tests from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. for private caregivers and family members who serve as medically necessary caregivers. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result is required for all caregivers/medical personnel each week. The test result must be within 7 days of their shift. We will not be requiring dog walkers to be tested as long as they do not enter the buildings or units.   Please make sure all of your residents’ caregivers have their test results with them when they come to be screened on our campus. Effective Thursday, December 10, 2020, proof of a negative test is required for all approved visitors and caregivers, no exceptions. This information has also been sent to caregiving agencies, posted on BWTV and will be included in the updated protocol going out tonight.

Thank you.
