Healthcare Community
We are starting to receive the results from our second Healthcare Community testing on July 28th. All 53 residents that were tested are negative. We are still waiting on a few employee results but so far, the news is good. We have determined that the employee that tested positive on July 21st was a false positive, which is great news. This is our second consecutive test without a positive case so if the outstanding tests come back negative we can stop our weekly testing for now.
Next week we will be meeting with the county regarding our plans to start lifting some of the restrictions in place. All of this will be dependent on no positive tests moving forward.
Independent Living Community
Activities in our Independent Living Community are resuming in Step 3 of our reopening process. We hope everyone is enjoying the amenities and following the proper guidelines. We want to remind everyone that it only takes one positive test to have to shut it all down again so please follow the guidelines in place.
As always, please follow the CDC guidelines of washing your hands regularly, wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
