Health Care Community – Assisted Living and Memory Care

Over the weekend, we had one resident in Assisted Living test positive for COVID-19, and the family was notified immediately. All residents have been tested in Assisted Living and Memory Care and one (1) resident tested positive in Memory Care, all remaining residents' results were negative. The family was notified and both residents are doing well and isolated in their units.

Due to the special services provided in Memory Care, family members and friends will not be allowed to visit for 10 days. Visitors will be allowed in Assisted Living Community on, the 2nd and 3rd floors. Please do not visit your loved one and contact your doctor if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: sore throat, severe lingering headache, sinus/head pressure, head congestion, runny nose, nausea, cough, and fatigue

All visitors need to take additional measures to make visitation safer. This includes wearing well-fitting masks, surgical or KN95 at all times, performing hand hygiene, and practicing physical distancing. Do not mingle in the Common areas of the community. We encourage everyone to become fully vaccinated and receive booster shots per CDC recommendations.

All team members follow the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention.

For further questions regarding protocols, contact: Jennifer Pitzer at 804-379-7100 ext. 187 or jpitzer@brandermillwoods.com and Stefania Johnson at 804-379-7100 ext. 114 or sjohnson@brandermillwoods.com.

We are currently consulting with the Chesterfield Department of Health to offer another Vaccination clinic to all residents and team members on COVID-19 vaccine doses they need to be “up-to-date”. Notification of the date and time will be sent when finalized.

Brandermill Woods team is doing an amazing job keeping our residents and each other safe. We could not provide the care and daily services without their dedication and compassion.

Thank you for your support and assistance as you visit to keep us all safe!
